INQUIRY COMMISSION
NEW SOUTH WALES CABINET DECISION Rec. 11 p.m. SYDNEY, May 26. The appointment of a Royal Commission to inquire into the gas industry was announced to-day by the Premier, Mr James McGirr, after a meeting of the State Cabinet. The decision is the fulfilment of a promise by the Premier last week that conditions in the industry would be investigated if the men returned to work.
