ANNUAL MEETING
TAIERI AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY
Mr J. Sutherland presided over the annual meeting of the Taleri Agricultural Society, which was attended by 30 members. The annual report and balance sheet showed that the society had had a very satisfactory year. Entries for the last show had increased by 80. The following office-bearers were elected:—President, Mr J. Sutherland; vicepresident, Mr F. McHattie; committee— Messrs R. A. Stevenson,’ J. Douglas, R. Orange, J. L. Robertson, G. Stevenson, J. A. Miller, J. B. Blair, C. McDonald. F. Miller, L. J. Gamble, and G. Laing; hon. auditor, Mr T. G. Boyd; hon. veterinary surgeon, Mr C. Dayus; life member, Mr W, J. Reid.
