OVERSEAS LEAGUE
EMPIRE DAY MESSAGE
An Empire Day message sent from Overseas House. St. James’s, London, by the chairman of the Central Council of the Overseas League, was received yesterday by the corresponding secretary of the Dunedin branch of the League, Mr T. Ritchie. “In greeting all branches on Empire Day.” the message states, “ I would stress the important contribution the league can make in the British way of life, and reaffirm the value of mutual help and understanding between all parts of the Empire.”
