RUSSIAN CELEBRATION OF V-E DAY
LONDON, May 10. Russia celebrated Victory in Europe Day with newspaper attacks on the Western Powers. In Berlin the omciaSoviet newspaper had pictures of tno latest Soviet weapons, headed Warning to all those who still feel like starting another bloody adventure. ■ The Kussian Army is ready for a hard and prolonged war, according to Major-general Zamintin, writing in Moskowski Bolshevik in connection with the V-E celebrations. Other Moscow newspapers claimed that Russia had developed a superior war machine, and had worked out strategies and tactics far superior- to the “ bourgeois theories of tank and air war.”
