POINTS DECISION
DORNAN BEATS ENDACOTT P.A. WELLINGTON, Apl. 19. With a win each and a draw in their three previous encounters, Noel Dornan (Hawke’s Bay) list and Frank Endacott, formerly of Australia, list 31b had produced a rousing tussle for supremacy when they met for the fourth time in the Wellington Town Hall to-night. Dornan had to withstand an almost continuous right-hand onslaught from Endacott, but was much faster and scored freely in infighting, and from the fourth round on built up a points margin in his favour to gain the decision. Endacott slowed up over the' concluding stages and on the ninth round went down for a count of nine after a whirlwind exchange in which Dornan came out on top with a right to the chin.
