MARIE WEST MYSTERY
PA. WELLINGTON, Apl. 16. An inquest into the death of Marie West, the 17J-year-old typist who disappeared from her home in Mclntyre avenue, Mount Victoria, on July 7 last year, will be held next Friday. For several weeks her disappearance caused considerable interest throughout the Dominion, and reports of people answering to her description were received from many parts of the North Island. On October 5 a local resident found her body partly covered by branches of scrub only a short distance from her home.
