Record Price Paid For Heifer
In the consignment of high-quality livestock loaded by the Komata at Auckland for shipment to their new owners in Australia, was a yearling. Aberdeen Angus heifer bought by Mr Lindsay Nicholas, of Melbourne, at a New Zealand record price of 450gns. This heifer. Ilsie of Tuatane, was by the celebrated Evenson of Gladbrook. belonging to Roberts and Company, of Gladbrook. Middlemarch. and was bred by Mr Jasper Herrick, of the Tuatane Stud, Ltd., Waipukurau.
