COOL TEMPERATURES The Meteorological Office in Wellington has; issued the following weather forecast for to-day:— Situation.—A depression covers the North Tasman, and pressures are high to the east and south of New Zealand. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day.— Moderate Weather cloudy, with morning drizzle near the coast, but later becoming fair. Temperatures cool. Weather in Dunedin. —Although rainthreatened at several times, none fell in Dunedin yesterday, while a slight southeasterly breeze had a cooling effect on the temperatures, which ranged from 51.2 deg to 56.5 deg. The grass minimum temcerature was 49.5 deg. Sunshine totalled 2hr 42min. The barograph traced an even course during the day. and at midnight read 30.12 in (1020 millibars)
