PARALYSIS OUTBREAK AUCKLAND PROVINCE P.A. AUCKLAND, Apl. 16. One positive case of infantile paralysis was reported in the Auckland Province to-day. The patient, a youth of 20 years, from Te Whaiti, in the Urewera country, is the seventh suffering from poliomyelitis to be admitted to the Rotorua Hospital. This was the first positive case from Te Whaiti. One suspect case was admitted to the Kaitaia Hospital from the Peria district. Action is being take to close the Peria School for a period. It will thus be the only school in Northland which will not open on Monday when all other schools are opening.
