FIRST CRICKET TEST
RECOGNISED BY CONFERENCE GAME BETWEEN DOMINION AND AUSTRALIA SYDNEY, Mar. 12.
The Australian cricket team that toured New Zealand in 1946 did so without the Imperial Cricket Conference’s approval. The countries comprising the conference have now officially recognised the tour, so the match against New Zealand at Wellington in March, 1946, now ranks as a test—the first between the two countries.
