CONSIDERATION BY BRITAIN
Rec. 11 p.m. LONDON. Mar. 5. An Australian proposal for largescale transfers of population and industries from Britain to Australia and other dominions is being considered by the Commonwealth Relations Office and will later come before the British Cabinet, says the correspondent of the Daily Herald. Australia’s vi6w, the correspondent says, is that too large a proportion of the Commonwealth’s population is concentrated' in Great Britain and that millions of all ages and qualifications should be transplanted to British countries overseas. This i£ a dominion viewpoint which is not shared by the British Government, the corerspondent adds. The British view is that for some time to come Britain needs all the workers obtainable.
