SYDNEY SLING LOAD DISPUTE ENDED
SYDNEY, Mar. 4. The sling load dispute, which had tied up shipping in Sydney, ended today. The dispute started when men were suspended for rejecting the Stevedoring Industry Commission's order to load 16 instead of 12 bags of sugar into a sling. Work was resumed to-day on the basis of 16 bags to a sling. The Industrial Commissioner agreed to hear the wharf labourer's case against a 16-bag sling as soon as possible.
