TARANAKI CUP PROSPECT Special to the Dally Times. WELLINGTON, Mar. 5. The Taranaki Jockey Club will hold its autumn meeting to-morrow when the feature event will be the Taranaki Cup. The meeting will be concluded on Monday. The track should provide fast going. Betting will be win-and-place and the favourites may include:— 11.2: Waitara Hurdles.—Broiefort Star, Kilcommon, Master Guard. 11.47: Ngamotu Juvenile Handicap.— Jolly Lass, Lanseair, Craftsman. 12.32: Moturoa Electric Hack Handicap —Secret Ruier, Solnera, Don Tara. 1.17: County Welter Handicap.—Miss Bairnsfather, Greekette, Faultina. 2.2: Taranaki Cup.—Robin’s Reward, Stony Broke, Miss Carolina.
2.47: Flying Handicap. Bramerton bracket, Brown Derby, Theocritus. 3.32: Okato Hack Handicap.—Moreq Fox, Square Dink, Alnajo. 4.17: Timaru Hack Handicap.—Baby Gay, Travel King, Nanakee.
