PHOTOGRAPHS BY RADIO LONDON TO WELLINGTON CIRCUIT LONDON, Feb. 29. Cable and Wireless, Ltd., will tomorrow open the world’s longest phototelegraph circuit, London to Wellington. Pictures travelling over 18,000 miles by radio will be automatically relayed through Colombo. A picture measuring up to 60 square inches will reach its destination in 10 to 15 minutes. Empire rates will be charged on the new photo-telegraph circuit—£s for a picture measuring up to 24 square inches, and proportionately for larger sizes up to 90 square inches. Photographs, letters, documents, diagrams, machine drawings, and even cheques may be transmitted by phototelegraphy.
