GUNNERY PRIZE
AWARD TO NAVAL OFFICER P.A. WELLINGTON, Feb. 28. The Commander Egerton Memorial Prize in gunnery for 1947 has been awarded to Lieutenant John M. Armstrong. R.N.Z.N., of Wellington, the chairman of the Naval Board. Mr Jones, announced to-day. Armstrong recently completed a long gunnery course "at the Royal Naval Gunnery School, Portsmouth, passing out top of the class.
