VISITOR ENTHRALLED
A prominent visitor to Dunedin, Lady Tute, of Nassau, capital of the Bahamas, said that the display .was one of the. finest, she had ever seen. She had judged displays in the south of France, and had been present at the famous carnivals in Nice, but in all her experience she had seen nothing which had excelled yesterday’s cavalcade. Lady Tute did not wish to distinguish between any of the floats, but she felt that, the float representing the Crown Jewels and the Southland float were outstanding.
