RADIO IN DOMINION
IMPROVED COVERAGE PLANS P.A. AUCKLAND, Feb. 11. The installation of radio equipment at the broadcasting stations throughout New Zealand, designed to improve the radio coverage of ‘.the Dominion, will be supervised by Mr R. Gill, of Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia), Ltd., who arrived by flying boat to-day. The plans include facilities at Auckland, Rotorua, the station at Pehgaroa, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin. It is hoped to have the work completed in two years. \ . The existing equipment will be 'replaced in some cases and supplemented in others. Some of the plant has already arrived in the Dominion. A representative of -the firm supplying the steel for the additions and alterations to the stations is also expected soon.
