MYSTERY DEATHS
INQUESTS TO BE REOPENED p.A. WELLINGTON, Feb. 11. Inquests into the deaths of Francis Roy Wilkins and Marie Emily West may be continued before the end of this month. It is understood that the police will shortly request the coroner in Wellington, Mr W. G. Mellish, to reopen the inquests, which were adjourned some months ago. After the shooting of Wilkins, whose body was found on the Evans Bay foreshore, and the strangling of Marie West on Mount Victoria last year, police inquiries have been conducted throughout the Dominion, and in the West case have been made as far afield as Japan.
