VISIT OF CORVETTES
PARTICIPATION IN OTAGO CENTENARY PA. WELLINGTON, Feb. 6. The Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, announced to-day that H.M.N.Z.S. Arabis and Arbutus, after their return to Auckland from the Waitangi celebrations on February 9, will exercise in the Hauraki Gulf from Wednesday. February 11, to February 14. after which they will leave Auckland on February 17 for Dunedin, where they are expected to arrive on Sunday, February 22, to take part in the centennial celebrations. The corvettes wil. sail from Dunedin for Wellington on Sunday, February 29.
