Vice-Regal The Governor-General, Sir Bernard Freyberg, V.C., and Lady Freyberg. will leave Wellington by ferry steamer on February 11 for the South Island, where they will pay official visits to Ashburton,. Timaru and Oamaru. They will arrive in Dunedin on February 20, where they will remain in residence for approximately six weeks. Ministerial The Minister of Defence, Mr Jones, arrived from Wellington by air yesterday. He will attend the regatta at Port Chalmers this afternoon and the South African War Veterans’ reunion this evening.
