PURSUANT to Sections 41 and 42 of “ The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1926,” and Amendments thereto, I Hereby Give Public Notice that an ELECTION will be held on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17, 1947. for the purpose of Electing a MAYOR and ONE COUNCILLOR for the Borough of Waikouaiti, and I Hereby Appoint the Borough Chambers, Main road, Waikouaiti, as the place and WEDNESDAY, the 26th day of NOVEMBER, 1947, as the day for the NOMINATIONS OF CANDIDATES for such office.
