MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS : TRUTH IN ADVERTISING "PARTY SHIBBOLETHS" BLUE TICKET NATIONALISTS SMACKED AGAIN The Otago Daily Times in its editorial of November 5, referring to important decisions in regards to several trading departments, stated "and in order that these decisions might be arrived at impartially and in the best interests of the community as a whole, something more than a blind adherence to party SHIBBOLETHS will be required of the men who make them." This is intended to smack Labour Party candidates, whereas, in point of fact, it smacks the Blue Ticket Nationalists. What but "blind adherence" to. party SHIBBOLETHS by the Mayor and Blue Ticket councillors is responsible for the transport bungle to cite but one exam pie of Blue Ticket control. SHIBBOLETH aptly describes the Blue Ticket Nationalists, because one definition of the word is " old fashioned and generally abandoned doctrine. BEWARE OF SHIBBOLETHS.
