STOLEN FURNITURE
SCOTLAND YARD'S BIG HAUL N.Z.P.A. Special Correspondent LONDON, Oct. 3. A Scotland Yard flying squad which raided an old barn in the Oxfordshire village of Cuddesdon found £IO,OOO worth of furpiture stolen from various services and Government establishments For some months lorries had been regularly delivering furniture at the barn, which the villagers understood was being used by the Ministry of Supply as a surplus furniture dump. Three men were arrested.
