FOUND HANGING
MAN MISSING FROM HOSPITAL P.A. GISBORNE, Oct. 2. A man who disappeared from a bed in Cook Hospital in the early hours of this morning was later found hanging in a shed on a property at Matokitoki Valley. He was Wilfred Burden, aged 58, of Gisborne. An intensive search was made by the police and the hospital staff in the darkness and throughout the day until the body was discovered in the afternoon.
