INVESTMENT RECORD EQUALLED Special to the Daily Times WELLINGTON, Aug. 20. The popularity of national savings as

an expanding thrift movement was further reflected last week in the high level of investments made in both town and country areas throughout the Dominion. Three hundred and twenty-five out of the 352 quota offices, equalling the record established in July, subscribed their allotted weekly objectives with the attainment by the Napier district of its annual quota four months earlier than last year.

Eleven out of the 20 postal districts have fulfilled his year's quotas. Keen interest in the value of the national savings group scheme was also in evidence last week, 18 new groups being formed.
