OTAGO TRADES COUNCIL
DISCUSSION NEXT WEEK A meeting of the Executive Council of the Otago Trades Council will be held next week, probably on Monday night, to discuss matters arising from the Arbitration Court’s pronouncement on the new wage schedules. Making this statement to the Daily Times yesterday, the secretary of the council, Mr L. F. Evans, said that the reason why discussion of this matter had been held over was that the council had had no knowledge of what adjustments would be made in taxation.
