NURSES IN CHINA
appeal for equipment PA WELLINGTON,. Aug. 19. An appeal is being .made by Corso to New Zealand nurses to help nurses working in primitive and poor conditions in China by sending gifts of working equipment. The appeal states that if every nurse in New Zealand would spare one item from her kit for a nurse in China then every nurse in China would have from 10 to 20 useful articles in her kit, which is at the moment pitifully bare, if not quite efnoty. The equipment needed includes forceps, thermometers, scissors, suture needles, hypodermic syringes, first-aid kits, and indeed any basic surgical and dental instruments.
