PARACHUTING INTO PALESTINE AMERICAN COMMITTEE’S PLAN Rec. 10.40 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 15. Rabbi Baruch Korff, co-chairman of the Political Action Committee for Palestine, said to-day that various organisations had pledged a total ot 10,000,000 dollars for the committee’s plan to parachute Jewish immigrants into Palestine in October. He said the plan would be carried out if the United Nations Committee of Inquiry for Palestine did not recommend immediate “repatriation" of 100.000 or more Jews to Palestine. Rabbi Korff will leave New York to-morrow to meet members of the United Nations Committee in Geneva and also, the leaders of the Jewish underground. He said he had originally planned going to Geneva via Southampton, but the British Government had refused him a visa. The Political Action Committee for Palestine" says it has 150,000 to 200,000 members, including members of affiliated organisations. It has representatives in all major European capitals except Moscow. In the United States it has a congressional advisory board on which members of both Houses are represented.
