The Medal Handicap played concurrently with the first qualifying rounds of the senior, intermediate and junior championships by the Belleknowes Club on Saturday afternoon resulted in a win in the senior division for R. Mclvor with the excellent card of 69—12—57, followed by'J. L.'Anderson, who also returned a good score, 71—12—59. Other scores in this grade were those of M. S. Tansley 70—10—60, A. C. Rowe 71—11—60, I. A. Forgie 68—7—61, K. A. North 69—8—61, H. N. Riddell 73—12—61, F. G. Haigh 74 Crombie 75—13—62, D. Gow 76—14 —62, J. Gooseman 75 —12—63. In the juniors L. E. Anderson won with the good score of 80—22—58. J. P. Bell was the runner-up with a card also of 77—18—59. Next best were W. H. Masters 79—16—63, J. Robertson 79—16—63, R. Fillory 87—24—63, W. N. Evans 82—18—64, K. W. Cooper 85—21—64, C. A. Beiworthy 88—24—64, I. Johnston 88—24—64, H. Beath 88—24—64.
