SEA SCOUTS
ANDERSON’S BAY HALL
It was an auspicious occasion for the Anderson’s Bay Sea Scouts on Saturday afternoon when the new and commodious Scout Hall was officially opened by the Minister of Defence. Mr Jones. Mr Galbraith, chairman 01 the Parents’ Committee, in welcoming Mr Jones, and also Mr Birchall, county commissioner of Scouts, stated that the project had been fulfilled only through the enthusiastic support given by Mr Jones in the initial stages, and later by the residents of the district. Before declaring the hall open, Mr Jones spoke of the benefits of the movement, and congratulated all present on their praiseworthy effort Mr Birchall also spoke. . A successful bazaar held in conjunction with the opening considerably helped the building fund.
