SCOUT AND CUB NOTES
Excellent entries have been received tor the first-class badge tests to be held this morning at Friendly Bay. The newlyformed Windsor group was registered this week, the chairman being Mr C. F Lory, the secrteary Miss R W E. Pinder, and the Cubmasters Misses Pinder and E Fiddes Two lone Scouts of the group hare also been registered. Cub wood badge certificates have been received for C M Mrs C. F. E. Watson (Columba) and CM R W. E. Pinder (Windsor Groupl Sandford certificate application forms have been received. Scouters whose patrol leaders have gained their home studv and camp certificates are asked to furnish full details immedaitely to district headquarters. Advice has been received from (lie North Otago Scouts attending the World Scout Jamboree in France' that, they would leave France early in September, arriving in New Zealand at the end of November Troop meetings will be held during the school term holidays. .
