INVESTIGATION SOUGHT BY HOUSE
Parliamentary Reporter WELLINGTON, Aug. 15. A full investigation and report on the published statement that 30 immigrants who recently arrived in New Zealand were so dissatisfied and disappointed that they immediately booked their return pasages to Britain, was asked for by Mr W. Sullivan (Oppn., Bay of Plenty) in notice of a question to the Minister of Immigration, Mr McLagan, in the House of Representatives to-day. He also asked if the glowing booklets issued to intending immigrants were not generally misleading as to conditions • of employment and housing in.-New Zealand. -•
