WOMEN’S BOWLING
AWAMOA CLUB Mrs P. Hunter, who was in the chair at the annual meeting of the Awarnoa Women’s Bowling Club, thanked members for their co-operation during the year and mentioned that the twenty-first birthday of the club would be celebrated this season. , The following officers were elected:— Patroness, Mrs M. Holmes; delegate to Ihe Otago Women’s Bowling Association. Mrs Gillies; auditor Mr W .7 Davies: president, Mrs P. Hunter; senior vicepresident, Mrs Curwood; Junior vice-piesi-dent, Mrs Carrad; secretary, Mrs Roulston; treasurer, Mrs Hayes; selectors, Mesdames Rusbatch and Black: Flower Committee— Mesdames Gerrie, Kennedy. Wright, and Carad; Social Committee —Mesdames Brooker, Hall, and Laney; executive, the officers and Mesdames Asher and Pile. Four honorary members were elected. It was decided to hold a " flour ” day early in the season.
