FAIR TO CLOUDY The following official weather forecast covering the ensuing 24 hours was issued at 5 p.m. yesterday by the Meteorological Office in Wellington. Situation.—An anti-cyclone lies north-east of New Zealand, while, a deep depression' is situated to the south-west. Forecast to 5 p.m. To-day,— Moderate to fresh north-west winds; weather fair to cloudy; temperatures ' becoming mild this afternoon. Weather in Dunedin. —Yesterday was again warnV and sunny in the city. The temperature ranged from a minimum of 43.2 degrees to a maximum of 57 degrees. The minimum grass temperature was 38.9 degrees. The sun shone for a total of 6 hours 36 minutes. The rainfall to 9.30 a.m. yesterday was O.Olin There was a strong north-easterly breeze later in the day. The barometer remained steady., the reading at midnight being 30 inches (1016 millibars).
