A FLYING SAUCER
Sir—l have no desire to be classed with people lacking in mentality, but I definitely saw a “ flying saucer at 8.10 this morning. It resembled a pure gold haio and moved quickly and silently, and before my husband could get to the window it had disappeared behind trees. It was travelling north-west to south-west, and was the size of a small dinner plate. Trusting someone else confirms my report,—l am, etc., L s . Hayden. Palmerston, August 3.
