OWNER’S MISTAKE
BEAU LE HAVRE SCRATCHED Rec. 9 p.m. MELBOURNE, Aug. 4. The New Zealand horse, Beau le Havre will not race in Australia this year. He has been scratched from the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups because of his owner's mistaken belief that firebranding would be necessary to conform with the Australian rules. A correction came too late to affect the scratching.
