KNEE INJURIES
ALL BLACKS’ MISFORTUNE Rec. 11.30 p.m. BRISBANE, June 13. The forward, Fred Hobbs, has had to stand down from the first Rugby Union test against Australia to-morrow because, of an injured muscle above the right knee.. Johnny Smith is also out with knee trouble. Grant, who in-
jured a knee in the Canberra match, and has a cold, was in doubt, but he will play. The team announced to-day is as follows: Full-back, Scott; threequarters—Argus, Goodard, McLean;' five-eighths, Allen and Couch; halfback, Tetzlaff; forwards—Simpson, Catley, Dalton, Grant, Frazer, White, Arnold, and Thornton. White will be vice-captain.
