Wanted for Murder,” the new thriller which will be shown at the State Theatre to-morrow, features Derek Farr and Erie Portman as the chief stars. Anne Fielding (Dulcie Gray) has a rendezvous with Victor Colebrooke to attend a fun fair on Hampstead Heath, and when he does not turn up she links up with Jack Williams, another of her acquaintances. At the fair Colebrook chums up with Anne, at whom he rages for being late. The next morning a murder is reported. Jack Williams, seen with one or two likely girls, is suspected for a time, but the hunt for the killer crosses the track of Colebrooke again and again, and as the police net is drawn • closer and closer it is obvious to everyone who the strangler is.
