RED CROSS ACTIVITIES

OVERSEAS RELIEF WORK The annual report of the North Otago centre of the Red Cross Society indicates the extent of the activities of the society in overseas relief work. With the assistance of all sub-branches and the town and country residents, states the report, 20 cases containing 940 items of food were collected, packed and shipped to Britain. Sixteen, cases of clothing had also been packed and shipped to Greece, England, and Scotland. Five cases were shipped under CORSO.
