SITUATIONS VACANT \yAIMATE HOSPITAL. A REGISTERED TRAINING SCHOOL FOR NURSE AIDS. APPLICATIONS are invited for Hospital Aids to commence a new Class in June, 1947. The Course is available, to suitable young Women, 17 years or over, and provides for a two-year period of training in Domestic Science and Elementary Nursing Duties (both medical and surgical). At the completion of the Course a State Examination is sat, and successful candidates are classed as Registered Nurse Aids. Registered Aids desiring to take their General Training will be allowed one year towards the three years and three months’ training required. Salary Payable is as follows: — lst-year Aid i . ■ 2nd-year Aid .. .. -. .. lst-year Registered Aid 2nd-year Registered Aid £ 85 95 125 135 All plus Free Board and Residence. Laundry, Uniforms, and also Shoe and Stocking allowance. Three weeks’ annual leave for Aids and four weeks’ annual leave when registered.
