\bout 200 women met in the St. John Ambulance Hall yesterday afteinoon, when a soc al function'was held by the Women's Division of the Federated Farmers. The euests of honour were the Mayoress, Mis Pa moron Professor A. G. Strong, and Mrs W H Eiliott, Dominion president of the vvDFF while the other guests included the delegates to the provincial conference of the division and representatives of the townswomen’s organisations.
