SALE TO SERVICEMEN
SECTIONS FOR BUILDING REHABILITATION PROPOSAL P.A. WELLINGTON, May 28. Certain of the building sections originally acquired by the Housing Construction Department are to be made available for purchase by ex : servicemen eligible for rehabilitation housing loans. It is not expected that there will be many of these sections and should there be insufficient for the number of applicants at any given time, allotment will be decided by ballot. The price to be charged will be the sale value as at December 15, 1942. As they come forward, the sections will be proclaimed Crown land and handed over to the Lands and Survey Department for disposal. The Rehabilitation Department will be kept advised of the position in each district and will receive applications from eligible ex-servicemen.
