EXECUTIVE MEETING Mrs K Smith was in the chair at the final meeting of the 1946-47 year of the women's section of the Oamaru Returned Services’ Association. Several letters of appreciation were received from people who had received parcels which had been sent overseas. Three new members were nominated. The balance sheet, which showed that the association had over £416 in the bank, was approved. Approximately £350 of this amount was raised for the RSA club rooms. A vote of thanks was passed to .Mrs Hall for her services over the last four years and a-half, members expressing regret that, because of ill-health, she "had to decline nomination for the presidency and also relinquish the office of secretary.
