OUTBREAK IN ENGLAND
LONDON, Apl. 14. The police immediately cordoned a Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, hotel when the town’s medigal officer reported that a man suffering'from smallpox was in the bar. The police rounded up 70 customers in the bar and they were all vaccinated. The medical officer had previously warned that this man was not to leave his lodging house, where there are six other cases.
