TECHNICAL COLLEGE
MEETING OF BOARD OF MANAGERS The monthly meeting of the Board of Managers of the King Edward Technical College was held yesterday, and was attended by Mr J. J. ,^ r^ow (chairman), Dr R. Gardner,,and Messrs H. R. Bunn, V. Crawshaw, C. J. Hayward, W. Jacobsen, F. L. Lawrence, J. M. Patrick, A, Robertson, and L. san- - 6ln hi's report for the month, the principal (Mr W. G. Aldridge) stated that the symphony orchestra w° u lcl give its concert in the Concert Chamber on June 5, and farewell concerts to the college’s music supervisor, Mr Frank Callaway, would be held in the Town Hall on June 25 and 26. Consideration of appointments to vacancies in the art department, the social studies and English departments, and to the position of relieving music supervisor, was left to the Appointments Committee. It was reported that the college would be closed from May 12 to May 23.
