TRIALS FOR SATURDAY WANTWQOD STRIPS WELL Special to the Daily Times INVERCARGILL, Apl. 15. With the first day of the Southland Racing Club's winter meeting set down for Saturday, a fair amount of useful training work was carried out at Invercargill this morning. After a sharp frost overnight and a light drizzling ram in the early morning, the tracks were in fast order. Jumpers Schooled Geniality (W. Hills), was sent two rounds of the steeplechase course, jumping eight fences in all. and with the exception of one fence, he gave a dashing dl ]Vlor'eybircl (T. J. Boyle) and Amorlad (O’Neil), were to have schooled over four hurdles together, but after jumping the first hurdle, Moneybird broke a rein and he went around before being stopped.
