OPENING OF INQUEST An inquest into the death of Beverley Frances McCallion. aged four years and two months, who died in the Public Hospital on March 19 while undergoing an operation, was opened at the Hospital yesterday before Mr J. D, Willis, S.M., sitting as coroner. After evidence of Identification had been given "by Robert John McCallion, of 11 Eden street', the father of the child, the coroner ordered a post-mortem to be performed, and the inquiry was adjourned sine die. Sergeant A. G. Beal represented the police.
