THE PRICE OF TINNED MEAT
Sir,—The price of a tin of ox tongue, weight ,14oz, is 4s 9d. I think this scandalous. I wanted my usual tin of meat without being dosed up with vegetables to put in my. monthly parcel for England. No meat being available, the grocer drew my attention to the article I complain of. I rang the Price Tribunal and found this is correct. Where does the money go to, as meat is dear at 4s 9d for 140z?—I am, etc., March 15. Anti Price Tribunal.
