POPULAR MATINEE

CHERNIAVSKY CONCERT Seldom do visiting musicians give tangible recognition to the fact that • the children of a community are just as much a potential audience as the adults. The younger generation of Dunedin, however, were remembered yesterday afternoon when they were provided .with-a matinee performance in the Town Hall Concert Chamber by the famous violinist, Leo Cherniavsky, with whom was the pianist, Miss Anna Jackobovitch. They will be anxious to attend similar matinees in the future.
