FIRST CHURCH WEDDING

BRIDE WEARS NET The marriage of Elder Humferay, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs E. H. Hely. Taihui road, to Ronald _ Chisholm, younger son of Mr and Mrs Eric Skinner. Rawhiti street, was solemnised in First Church, by the Rev. W. Allan Stevely. last Wednesday. , ~ , The bride’s frock of embroidered net over ivory satin, featured a simply-styled bodice with a flared skirt falling into a train. She wore an embroidered veil caught with flowers on either side of the head and carried a bouquet of cream gladioli. .. _ , The bride’s attendants were Mrs Jack Hannah, the bridegroom's sister, as matron of honour, and Miss Shirley Hely, sister of the bride, as bridesmaid. She was assisted by Mrs Skinner who wore a frock of deep violet crepe with a black picture hat. For travelling the bride wore a corn gold three-piece boucle suit, matching hat and brown accessories.
